Here...

New_york_cityRead my new Sci-Fi book on the plane... Host, by Stephenie Meyer.  Now I am here in NYC and I love it!

The home of Wicked, A Salt and Battery, Food Network, Project Runway, H&M, Etsy, Mood... oh yeah, and the National Stationary Show!

Tinkering Ink is here showing our new stationary line called "heart feltz".  Aside from the trade show we are going to hang out with a few of the gals from Simple Scrapbooks, Paper Crafts and Digital Scrapbooking Magazines.  I am also hoping to win in the lottery line and get to see Wicked and eat tons of good food... because after all, isn't it all about the food?

TI interview with Circleback Studio

Circle_tagOur talented designer, Kezia, had an opportunity to do radio and video interviews with many companies while debuting our lines at the Winter CHA.  One of those companies is Circleback Studio, an online resource dedicated to bringing the art community together...whether it's scrapping, writing, knitting or any other form of art.  We LOVE that!

CHA Report!

Well, our first experience at the CHA was certainly eventful!  Whew!  We are TIRED!  We met amazing people, saw amazing creativity and had an amazing time!  Kezia, our Head of Design did many interviews for various radio, TV and web sites and BH&G named us Best New Booth!  Here are just some of the photos of us slaving away...okay, maybe the restaurant shots aren't us slaving!

Here's our beautiful booth...

Update from the CHA

We are having a BLAST so far at the CHA and have been SO BUSY!  We have met so many wonderful people and are truly inspired by all of the creativity around us!  Here is a picture of our CHA Anaheim team at the 2peas Ice Cream Social.

Paul won the door prize at the 2peas party.  Here he is with the 2peas owner and his prize bag...

A nod from Tracy White

"I'M MAKING A LIST AND CHECKING IT TWICE...no, I’m not identifying the 'naughty or nice.' Instead, I’m making a list of the manufacturers I’ll meet with next week at CHA, our industry’s largest tradeshow. I’ve been lucky enough to get a few sneak previews with BasicGrey, Tinkering Ink, Making Memories, Scenic Route and several others, but next week I’ll see everyone’s new products. Now, that’s paradise!"

Yes...we are SO EXCITED for our launch at the CHA and so is Tracy! Woo Hoo!

Happy New Year!

Fireworks As we drove home from a family Party on New Years Eve with our daughter sleeping soundly in the backseat (yes...we DID let a 2 year old stay up until midnight!) I saw fireworks in the sky and felt a thrill of excitement.  I love that the New Year has become a celebration of what the future holds.  Each January 1st beckons a vision of the year to come, a year filled with possibilities!  That deserves Fireworks lighting up the sky!

We are so excited for 2007 here at Tinkering Ink since it will mark our debut into the scrapbooking world!  We have invested more time, effort and passion than can be accounted for with the goal of uplifting and inspiring you to make your paper crafts a masterpiece.  As we prepare for our debut at the CHA in Anaheim, we feel the thrill of excitement like a 1st grader preparing for show and tell.  We can't wait to "show" our products and "tell" the scrapping world how completely passionate we are about the creative process.

As our Message Board, BLOG and Gallery get up and running we are especially thrilled to be inspired by YOU and the work you share with us using our products.  Every time we see a project from one of our talented Design Team members we feel a thrill of inspiration since they come up with unique and amazing ways to use our lines which we never thought of.  Our products are beautiful, but the magic comes when you add your personal touch and create a work of art.

So Happy New Year to ALL and we hope that 2007 brings health, happiness and inspiration to each of you!
