We had just an AMAZING time at the CHA! Besides the owners, we took four members of our Design Team; Emilie, Teresa, Summer and Mindy.
The first day was busy with people coming to see what was new with Tinkering Ink. We debuted 4 new lines (Botanical Bliss, Haberdasher, Yuletide and Blur). Of those four lines the most response was undoubtedly our BLUR line. It's bold patterns and funky colors were a big hit and we are so thrilled to provide the crafting world with a line just for teens!
On Friday we headed to 2 fabulous parties. The first was the Scrap In Style party where there was great food, great people and great prizes! We had so much fun with the Scrap In Style ladies (who were just as fun as they could be and talk about energy and enthusiasm for scrapping! They HAD IT!)

We then hit the 2peas Social. Here we are with the cute owners of 2peas. We had a great time there visiting with the 2peas members and had some delicious desserts!

Day 2 was also a blast. Becky Higgins came to our booth and was just so amazing! The sweetest person ever and her new book, Best of Becky Higgins Sketches is a must have. I got to look through it and talk about inspiring! It has every sketch that has ever been featured in CK and a brand new layout to accompany each sketch. Sign me up!

If you have read any post CHA blogs or heard any info about what was the buzz at this show, I am sure you heard the words DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING. It is on the rise and growing fast! And with good reason. There are just so many endless possibilities with digital and hybrid scrapping that the scrapbooking world is turning on it's ear!
On the last day I got a few seconds to scoot over to the CK Media booth and chat with the lovely ladies from Digital Scrapbooking magazine. If I could have a slumber party with these girls, some digital software and never ending bon-bons I would be in heaven! Every single one of them was friendly, sweet, talented and FUN! I had met a few before, but also made some newfound friends like Renee Pearson (pictured below, far left). She is the author of the books Digital Designs for Scrapbooking 1 and 2. If you are a bit intimidated or not sure where to start with digital scrapping, these are the books for you. Renee breaks it all down into simple, easy to understand instructions and makes it easy for you to scrap to your hearts content. I got a chance to look through this amazing book and WOW. I was just completely INSPIRED and also educated beyond belief! And believe me...I am still new at digital. Grab one up and get on the new wave of scrapping!

All in all, CHA Chicago was just a mind-blowing and wonderful experience. The best people in the world and the most amazing products, ideas and creativity makes for one life-changing time!
