34_1 Well folks we have a super dee duper new DT Leader!  Michelle St. Clair. FAR FROM WONDER WOMAN

Lyndacarterwonderwomanphotographc10

When I was a kid I watched Wonder Woman incessantly.  I really wanted to be Lynda Carter... When she was Wonder Woman flying the glass airplane, I just wanted to be her.  I even had Wonder Woman Underoos!  Well today I had a shocking revelation... I will never be Wonder Woman.  Let me explain.

Our Communications Director Emilie has been running the blog since TI's inception.  She is quite savvy when it comes to blogging and clever at her posts (wouldn't you agree?)  Emilie is moving to the east coast with her little family and has taken on a lot of new responsibilities and so she resigned from her post a few weeks ago.  We were sad to see her go but know she is moving on to fun adventures.

So... We sat down in a TI meeting and revamped.  During the meeting I willingly volunteered to take over the blog!  I have posted a few times before and I really enjoy keeping a connection with our customers and fellow crafters...therefore I should be able to run the blog...  "WONDER WOMAN" right?!

Well dish me up a big ole helping of humble pie will ya?  After spending hours surfing the typepad website today and erasing some vital information (don't worry I am sure Em will help me get it back) I decided that the blog might take a little more effort than I anticipated!  (this really translates into learning HTML so I can post visually pleasing things for our readers)  And so...

Tomorrow I embark on the HTML tutorial experience!  AND just so I know that it isn't all for naught I will be checking to see who is leaving comments after my attempts at posting.  If you are cheering me on and reading regularly then get ready for some SUPER PRIZES!  (My goal is to post each day I am in the office and at least once or twice if I am traveling to teach)

So here is the first prize offering...THE FIRST READER TO GUESS WHAT LYNDA CARTER AND I HAVE IN COMMON WINS A TINKERING INK BLING T-SHIRT!

BEST OF LUCK!

-KEZIA

Daniela Dobson

Daniela_dobsonMy name is Daniela Dobson. I live in Irving TX, but I am originally from Croatia. I am married to Peter, love of my life. We are expecting our first baby in February 2008.

I have been crafting in some form for as long as I can remember, but really got into card making, scrapbooking , and rubber-stamping four years ago. I like using a variety of products and techniques to create lasting memories. When I am not crafting I can be found watching reality TV, cooking, reading or traveling.

I am so excited to be a part of the Tinkering Ink Design Team!

Summer Fullerton

Sfullerton_headshotI am 37 year-old SAHM from Tigard, Oregon, a suburb just outside of Portland. I married my best friend Brad over 13 years ago and we have 2 beautiful children Grant (10) and Corinne (7).

I have a passion for photography that goes back to my childhood when I received my first SLR camera in the 8th grade. I made my first scrapbooks in high school – pictures and memorabilia taped to typing paper.

I discovered scrapbooking as we know it today in 1997 shortly after the birth of my son. I was immediately hooked. I like to consider myself a versatile scrapper. I scrap 8 ½ x 11 and 12 x 12 – one and 2 page layouts. I love patterned paper and enjoy the challenge of using products in unique and fun ways. My work tends to be multi photo based with strong lines and fun stories.  Gallery

Linda Harrison

Lharrisonheadshotem Hi! I'm Linda and I am one happy woman! Why? Because I have an abundance of two things in my life: great times with family and friends and a treasured supply of paper, stamps, embellishments and stickers. A lot of love, and a good amount of creative time, and I'm all set. My husband of 6 years, Rob, and our son Robby, are very supportive of my creative habits. We live in Sarasota, Florida and enjoy getting out to take advantage of the beautiful weather and warm waters of the Gulf coast.

I have been creating in some form or another since I was a child, but nothing compares to the fun I am having now! The bold colors and fun patterns of Tinkering Inks products couldn't be any more inspiring to me. Yes, this is going to be fun!

Jaime Lynne Lea

Jaime_2I've been married since 2003 to a man who supports my scrap addiction by serving as my biggest fan and providing me with a scraproom and a scrap budget. We live in Las Vegas. I work for the one of the largest school districts in the nation... handling public and media relations and communications. My husband and I love to travel with friends, go to movies, ballroom dance, and spend time with family.

I play the piano and finally purchased my dream piece of furniture... a baby grand piano. (Thanks, honey!) I do love my iPod, milk, fondue, Alaska and pink. I don't love alarm clocks, barnacles, most animals and laundry.

Scrapbooking is my creative outlet and my tangible collection of memories. I enjoy scrapping with clean lines and bold, bright colors that communicate an emotion so Tinkering Ink is a great fit for me!

In Stores Now: NOIR BLANC

TINKERING INK'S fabulous new line NOIR BLANC should be arriving in a local scrapbook store near you. If your store doesn't carry it tell them to order it a.s.a.p. because it's flying out of our warehouse!  In the meantime you can buy it direct from Tinkering Ink by clicking here.

A lot of great things are Black and White…salt and pepper, tuxedos, the daily newspaper and old movies. In my hometown we have a small movie theater that was built in the early 1900’s. It’s been fully restored to its original splendor and each weekend they run an old black and white film. Those old films inspired “Noir Blanc” when stars were really stars and everything glamorous was in black and white. Each of the papers have the colors reversed on the back.
