Tinkering Tip: X-acto Excellence

One of the things I love about Tinkering Ink papers are their bold and graphic designs.  But some scrappers ask us how to use these large prints for their scrapping.  Well, here's a perfect example of how easy and striking scrapping can be.  This page, by Pam Callaghan, was a breeze thanks to a large T.I. print and an x-acto knife.

Pam simply took our Bella paper from our Al Fresco collection and cut the edge of the swirl with an x-acto knife.  She then slid a matted photo under the cut edges, added a title, a leaf cut-out from our tabs and tags sheet and some of her own butterfly embellishments and this beautiful page emerged.

We challenge you to try this same method out in your scrapping adventures this week.  Grab a large, bold pattern from one of our collections (to purchase the paper shown above click here) and cut away!  It's a simple way to make a high impact page in no time at all.

I Spy some T.I. - Winner!

Today I spotted a fabulous layout in the scrapbook.com gallery using Tinkering Ink products.  These papers are from one of our new lines called Wild Woodland.  I just love how Scrapchickee used these bold colors to compliment her layoutss message and we always love seeing a big, bold flower on a boy's page.  You ROCK Girl!

Please email your real name and mailing addy to emilie@tinkeringink.com so we can send you a RAK filled with Tinkering Ink products!  Here is Scrapchickee's winning layout...
