Here...

New_york_cityRead my new Sci-Fi book on the plane... Host, by Stephenie Meyer.  Now I am here in NYC and I love it!

The home of Wicked, A Salt and Battery, Food Network, Project Runway, H&M, Etsy, Mood... oh yeah, and the National Stationary Show!

Tinkering Ink is here showing our new stationary line called "heart feltz".  Aside from the trade show we are going to hang out with a few of the gals from Simple Scrapbooks, Paper Crafts and Digital Scrapbooking Magazines.  I am also hoping to win in the lottery line and get to see Wicked and eat tons of good food... because after all, isn't it all about the food?

A few of my favorite things!

Hills_lgSo I have this dear friend named Tasha and she had a "Favorite Things"  party lastnight.  Everyone brought their latest favorite thing.  A can't-put-it-down read, life-saving lipgloss, indulgent treat, etc.  Not only was the food delicious but the entire evening was just fabulous fun.

So, in honor of Tasha and her fabulous party here is a list of my current favorite things that are craft related... these are things that inspire me, make creating easier or are just plain fun!

1- My Glue Glider Max by Perma Tac.

2- Ranger Stickles.

3-Our latest Ti Peek-A-Boo album shaped like a flower.

4- My Tim Holtz clear grid design ruler and  micro-serrated snips.

5- Beautiful, gorgeous, fabulous Strano Ribbon.

CK Ti Vintage Haberdasher Car and a Challenge!

June_guy_gifts3How fun is this! I made this vintage inspired convertible out of our "Haberdasher" paper and it is in the most recent issue of CK.

The article has a fun memory board by Ali Edwards, mini album by Heidi Swapp and car gift box by you guessed it...Kezia Whitteker!

What an honor and privilege to be in the same article as these two talented and creative women!

Here is the challenge, take something from your everyday life, like I did with the kids meal car and use it for a template to create something new!

My latest Peek-a-boo album is being made by combining the 5 wonderful lines of WorldWin paper that is made using 100% wind-power! I am "Craftily Creating" my own embellishments from products that are recycled by using 20% post consumer waste. Go Green!

An appology and a fun link...

SorrycoverOK I know you are all waiting to see who won the Ti and WorldWin contest but we are still cross referencing the names we drew and making sure that they not only have the right answers but they posted on BOTH BLOGS as well!

Hopefully in the morning sometime we will have all of the winners posted on BOTH sites!

So as a peace offering here is a fun link to a site you might want to explore... it is called favorfavor.com and they have these pretty glass coasters with frosted edges that you can stamp with StazOn or put a mini scrapped photo behind... really the creative possibilities are endless and you get 2 coasters for only $.99! Is this starting to sound the Magic Bullet infomercial?  So when I was just teaching in Sacramento one of the classes used these and they were truly fabulous!  Give them a try and send me pictures of what you create!
